Red Circle was founded and is led by James Wilson and Bruce Finnamore two well known and respected healthcare advisors.
James and Bruce are supported by a dedicated and highly experienced team of consultants, analysts and project managers with significant experience of working with the NHS and commercial health sectors.

Bruce has over 40 years experience of working with the health sector.
Originally a graduate general management trainee, Bruce spent eight years in the NHS, was the Chief Executive of an independent hospital in central London and joined Price Waterhouse in 1986 to establish their health consulting practice.
In 1991, Bruce founded Finnamore

Originally a graduate general management trainee, Bruce spent eight years in the NHS, was the Chief Executive of an independent hospital in central London and joined Price Waterhouse in 1986 to establish their health consulting practice.
In 1991, Bruce founded Finnamore Management Consultants, which became the U.K.’s largest and most successful independent health and social care consultancy.
During this period, Bruce co-founded the Foundation Trust Network, (now NHS Providers), and majored on providing strategic and operational consultancy support to NHS Trusts.
Finnamore was acquired by GE Healthcare in 2014 to become GE Healthcare Finnamore. At that point Bruce semi-retired, but continues to provide high-level consultancy support to a number of long term NHS clients.
James has over 30 years experience of financial management in the health sector and particularly the NHS.
Originally a graduate finance trainee, James qualified as an accountant and worked in a variety of senior finance positions in the NHS.
In 2004, he established Assista to provide detailed financial support to the NHS. Since then, Assi

In 2004, he established Assista to provide detailed financial support to the NHS. Since then, Assista has worked with more than 200 NHS organisations across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
In 2021, James sold Assista and became the chief executive of The Pinewoods Group of Clinics - an independent provider of a range of healthcare services.
